My app is quite unique, I don't know any ASE editors on iOS, macOS or win platform, free or paid. Why not? Specific of the app - you can find color schema outside of the home, open ase from iCloud and share with your team for seconds. (which few designers use to do their work). >You're charging $6 for an app for the iPhone. It no longer works in macOS Catalina and the developer has disappeared.īuild a modern version of that app with the ability to also preview PS pattern files and the ASE files along with the brush files and you can probably make a pretty decent amount if marketed correctly. I used to have an app called BrushPilot that would allow me to "catalog" the brush files and show me little previews of each brush in the file. As a designer, I collect crap-loads of Photoshop Brush files. Make a macOS version of this app, and add a unique feature or two and you can probably charge $15-$20. I think $6 is too much money when an app offers me absolutely nothing I don't already have and pay $50+ a month for and doesn't even work on the platform I use (the Mac). And no, I don't think $6 for a useful app is too much money. Look, as I said in my original response, I applaud your effort. THING.įact: Adobe also has multiple apps for iOS that do the same thing as your app, but sync it automatically with Adobe CC apps you have installed on your computer-thereby bypassing the need to even deal with ASE files. They do this because they know there is little reason to have a file in ASE format to begin with, other than backup/transfer purposes where a file name is enough of an indicator of what the file is.įact: Because designers who want/need the colors in ASE format are already using Adobe apps, everything your app does is already built-in to the applications on the computer that they're already paying for and using. And while most of them (I suspect almost all of them, actually) have an iPhone, it's just not used as an extension of their workflow (it's more of a supplemental thing).įact: With Adobe Color you can see thumbnails of the colors because it doesn't use the ASE format unless you want to transfer the ASE document (or save it for backup). #Colorslurp windows professional#There's also an iOS app.Fact: The overwhelming majority of professional designers work on a desktop/laptop computer, not a phone, or even an iPad. It will copy/export your colors for actual languages and not just formats and my personal favorite feature is savable palettes. #Colorslurp windows software#

![]() My admiration for this artwork is based on how the artist depicted the dancers who appear to be moving around within the frame. The artist wanted to depict the beauty of the ballet and dancers that successfully made performances toward the beginning of the modern world. Instead of just appreciating this masterpiece, I decided, as part of my education, to discuss The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage due to how I was overwhelmed by it. This artwork made me feel that I had met him for the first time. Before visiting the exhibition, I was familiar with Degas’ artworks longer than I could remember. Specifically, this artwork was daring, dynamic, and combined all the aspects of radical foreshortening of the vast areas of the composition. I was completely blown away by the serenity of the place and the artwork. My attention was immediately drawn towards The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage. The place was overcrowded, but I could not hide my admiration for Degas’ artworks. ![]() I did visit galleries and exhibitions with the MMA to have a glimpse of some of his artworks. #Edgar degas the rehearsal of the ballet onstage how to#He knew how to play with forms, lines to structure artworks that could communicate diverse themes. I was somewhat habituated with his artistic charms, and that made acknowledge and appreciate the greatness of his works. Visiting the museum was exciting having known Degas for so long. My visit to the museum was successful, and my attention was drawn to this artwork. Degas’s preparation in the composition of the art is well anchored on how he adequately prepared for each object in the drawing, ranging from the dancers on the background, foreground, and the woman seen to be yawning next to the stage. Distinctively, The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage artwork is believed to have preceded another version of pastes, which artists opine was more freely handled (Degas, 2010). The two other artworks that appeared alongside this are displayed in the metropolitan collection of art. According to visual analysts, it is the first largest, painting to have appeared in the first Impressionist exhibition in 1874 (Degas, 2010). The artwork follows the guidelines and styles of impressionism movement. This is attributed to the similarity of scenes in the composition and how precise relationships have been established to achieve unity. This masterpiece by Degas has confused many artists in the past decades. The artwork has been classified as a drawing. At the MMA, the artwork measures 54.3 by 73 cm. All these materials are then mounted on canvas. There are traces of watercolor and a paste that is used to draw a cream-colored wove on paper. The medium of the composition is oil that is freely mixed with turpentine. This painting clearly shows the Parisian culture because ballet was a major aspect at that time. The artwork, The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage, was composed by Edgar Degas, a French artist in 1874. The colors are dull, reinforcing the mood.īallet Rehearsal on Stage is a prime example of Degas' work. In the bottom right corner of the painting, the first empty row of the theater is shown, once again reiterating that it is a rehearsal shown. Author, Francesco Salvi, has his own view of Degas'ĭepiction: "In The Rehearsal on Stage he captures the repetitious nature of a job like any other: the ballerinas' movements, rehearsed and re-rehearsed, an old teacher, two bored onlookers". The dancers do not show the beauty seen on the stage. ![]() Yawning, with both hands stretched back behind head, head raised, and mouth wide open. ![]() Every dancer has a different facial expression, but all of the expressions read as one mood: fatigue. The dancers shown are dressed uniformly, their faces are not uniform. The dancers are not only dancing but they are stretching and yawning. Most ballet scenes show dancers performing for an audience, but Degas shows the dancers in a different way. Keith Roberts said, "It retains little quiet charm, like The most obvious difference between this painting of ballet and another impressionist's ballet scene is that the dancers are rehearsing. The lack of color is evidence of the painting's anit-impressionism. Ballet Rehearsal on Stage, painted in 1874, was not a typical impressionist painting. ![]() ![]() (Editors may chuckle, but this intuitive structure is helpful when collaborating with less tech savvy clients and investors.) Furthermore, the presence of the CBET gain multiplier required to match the data in all of the configurations tested suggests that additional physics effects, such as intensity variations due to diffraction, shortcomings of extending the 1-D Randall model to 3-D, or polarization effects, should be explored to explain the differences in observed and predicted drive. These measurements were performed on both OMEGA and the National Ignition Facility to access a wide range of plasma conditions, laser intensities, and laser beam geometries. The simulated mass ablation rates and ablation front trajectories were in excellent agreement with the measurements at all angles when a CBET model based on Randall’s equations was included into the simulations with an optimized multiplier on the CBET gain factor. Hydrodynamic simulations more » performed without CBET reproduced the measured ablation rate and ablation front trajectory at the pole of the target, verifying that the other laser-coupling physics effects are well-modeled when CBET effects are negligible. The combination of low- and high-CBET conditions in the same implosion allowed the effects of CBET on the ablation rate and ablation pressure to be decoupled from the other physics effects that influence laser-coupling. A polar-direct-drive laser configuration was used, where the equatorial laser beams were dropped from a symmetric direct-drive configuration to suppress CBET at the pole, while allowing it to persist at the equator. The angularly-resolved mass ablation rates and ablation front trajectories for Si-coated CH targets were measured in direct-drive inertial confinement fusion experiments to quantify crossbeam energy transfer (CBET) while constraining the hydrodynamic coupling.
